Village Hotel & Leisure Club, Headingley, Leeds
The editors of this site recently stayed at the Village Hotel and checked out the facilities, this is their report.

As we entered the grounds to the hotel we immediately knew that we could not have chosen a better location for our brief stop off in Leeds. Parking was easy and check in was quick. We surveyed the reception and instantly felt relaxed. Yes the leisure facilities and swimming pool are great but that's not what we visit a hotel for, it's nice to have it on hand if the urge takes us but this weekend is about relaxing. Having checked in and stowed our bags we headed for the Village Pub to unwind after our long journey and work out what we would do for the evening. As luck would have it Friday night at the Village is tribute night and for only £19.95 each we could have a 3 course meal, a Tribute Act (tonight it was Freddie Mercurys turn) followed with a disco until 1am. Perfect, no need to travel in to Leeds City Centre. It was really good value and an unexpected treat.

The following morning we enjoyed a full english breakfast from the buffet before checking out and continuing our journey. Our overall experience at the Village Leeds was excellent, good value, good entertainment, good location.

The Village Hotel & Leisure Club Leeds is just a short drive from Leeds city centre and within easy reach of the historic city of York, beautiful Yorkshire Dales and Bronte country. We missed our turning and ended up approaching from the northern ring road, as it turned out we missed the city centre rush hour traffic.
