Directions to The Grove

Clockwise on the M25 (coming from Heathrow airport or Gatwick airport / west of London)

Leave the M25 at Junction 19, follow the signs to Watford. At the first large roundabout (known locally as the Hunton Bridge Roundabout) take the third exit (A411 towards Watford). After half a mile, the entrance to The Grove will appear on the right hand side.

Anti-clockwise on the M25 (from Stansted / north of London)

Leave the M25 at Junction 20, following the signs to Watford. At the first large roundabout (known locally as the Hunton Bridge Roundabout) take the second exit (A411 towards Watford). After half a mile the entrance to The Grove will appear on the right hand side.

North on the M1 (coming from central London)

Leave the M1 at Junction 5 and take the third exit (A41 to Aylesbury). After approximately a mile, you will come to a roundabout (known locally as the Dome Roundabout). Take the second exit (again the A41 to Aylesbury). After nearly two miles, you will come to another roundabout (known locally as the Hunton Bridge Roundabout) take the first exit. After half a mile, the entrance to The Grove will appear on the right hand side.

South on the M1 (coming from Luton airport)

Leave the M1 at Junction 6. At the t-junction at the end of the slip road, follow the road round to the left, following signs for North Watford A405. After approximately 1 1/2 miles, at a large roundabout (known locally as the Dome Roundabout), take the second exit (A41 to Aylesbury). At the next roundabout (known locally as the Hunton Bridge Roundabout) take the first exit. After half a mile the entrance to The Grove will appear on the right hand side.

By train

It takes only 20 minutes from London Euston to Watford Junction. Watford Junction is also served by key mainline train services to Birmingham New Street and Manchester Piccadilly. The London Underground Bakerloo Line also serves Watford Junction. Transfer time by taxi to The Grove is about 10 minutes.
Watford Met, as it is known locally, is served by the London Underground (Metropolitan line). Transfer time by taxi to The Grove approximately 8 minutes.
Trains also operate from London Marylebone to Rickmansworth station. Transfer by taxi from the station to The Grove approximately 15 minutes.

By air

Easy national and international access from Heathrow (30 minutes), Gatwick (60 minutes), Luton (25 minutes) and Stansted (55 minutes) airports. Allow slightly longer at peak times.

By boat

A little unusual but The Grand Union Canal runs through The Grove. Allow 8 hours from London’s Regent’s Park.

By helicopter

As you would expect The Grove has a Helipad on site.
